And the whole thing falls apart. I've shown her the empty container she chose 10 times, and 5 times in frustration she's paw-whapped the container so hard that she's knocked it out of my hand. She could be

a) thinking it's a Zen behaviour;

b) thinking it's all about putting her muzzle on a lid;

c) trying so hard not to hit the container with her paw that she can't think about anything else;

d) trying so hard not to retrieve the container that she can't think about anything else;

e) completely overwhelmed with the scent spreading all over everything;

f) thinking she's looking for my scent, which is all over both containers; or

g) thinking something else I'm not thinking of. Whatever it is, we're going backwards at a remarkable rate.

I need to rethink.
