ORIGIN of SAMPLE: Tonic/clonic seizure; spit
samples collected on cotton rounds and a roll of gauze (ran out of cotton
rounds). Clonazepam given after 2 minutes of seizure activity.
COMMENTS: Dog getting
very frustrated, throwing false positives all over the place, has no clue what
we’re doing. Not sure if sample is too old or if she’s having difficulty finding a very light scent, or if she just
has no clue what I’m asking for. I suspect she DOES have a clue, but is not
finding the scent so is throwing guesses at me.
